Chapter 6
Dad! Im going for a walk! I called, and heard him grunt in response. I grabbed my jacket and slipped my house key into the pocket. I locked the door behind me and walked briskly down to the corner. Until I reached the forest I didnt slow down. As soon as I was under the cover of the trees I slowed and relaxed.
I reached the clearing I was aiming for. It was a big clearing, with lots of long, unmowed green grass. I sat down in the middle, and lay down on my back, smiling in the sun.
After a few minutes I felt uneasy, like someone was watching me. I jumped to my feet looking at the surrounding trees. I saw a
The Arabian
Once, Arabians drew the chariots of the Pharaohs of Egypt,
Once, Arabians carried desert tribes to war,
Once, the armies of Islam stormed westward on Arabians,
Once, Arabians sired the Thoughbred, King of speed
Now, the throne of princes and the battle-steed of warriors,
Has become the pleasure horse of nations.
Gaze upon your Arabian with pride,
Treat her with care,
For in her burns the fire of the desert,
Down the centuries,
She hears the call of the wind blowing free,
Yet love keeps her by your side.

On his feet now,

With mild suprise.
Bay mare stands and
Sniffs and snorts,
Pokes with her nose,
And knocks him down again.
She looks at me
And asks:
"Whats this then?
Strange little object...
What should i do?"
I have spent ten happy years
Feeding her and rugging her,
Riding her and loving her,
Never knowing who's boss.
I approved the handsome lad,
She met in last spring times pasture,
Paid his fee and cherished her,
As she bloomed and brooded.
Now, the reward for our labours,
Wobbles past her tucked up bel

Will You Be My Valentine?
Will you be my Valentine?
For the first time I dared to share my feelings with you,
I dared tell you how I feel,
The love I held inside myself,
Was too good to be real,
You laughed at me and shooed me away,
I didnt dare again,
I kept my feelings to myself,
Pretending you werent vain,
One single wish was all I wanted,
One single wish is small,
One day that you would give me,
A valentine to hang upon my wall,
Now, where that valentine should be,
There is but empty space,
I dearly wish that you could see,
The love upon my face,
One single wish was not enough,
To bind us in unity,
One day, though, Ill show you

Friendship Is Forever
Friendship Is Forever,
It's a love that never dies,
True friends are for always,
Through your smiles and your cries,
A friend will never leave you,
Until the end of time,
It's a love that lasts forever,
But it never costs a dime.
Chapter 5
Ben! I groaned at him over the phone, as he laughed, I really have to go now it was his turn to groan, See you at school I said, laughing.
Yeah fine, see you at school he muttered and I laughed again, hanging up. I pressed the quick dial number for Sam. He hadnt been at school all week and I was starting to get worried. He didnt answer, again. Whats wrong? I must have done something. Hell come round hopefully. I heard a knock at the door and ran downstairs to get it before Dad did.
I opened the door and gasped with shock, it was Sam. He was here. He stepp
Chapter 4
Your Dad doesnt like me does he? Sam asked me Tuesday morning at school.
Im afraid so I replied
I dont care whether he likes me or not, I love you, nothing will ever change that. He smiled down at me, and, as if for the first time, I noticed that he was much taller than me.
I love you too Sam I sighed But Dad wont let me near you outside of school
Hey, why dont I pick you up in the morning and then you can come over to my place after school?
Id love that I smiled at him. And groaned as I noticed Bens c

How Many Times Must I Say bye?
How Many Times
Must i Say Goodbye?
How Many Times is enough?
How much do you,
want my heart to break?
For me to,
Want you back?
It's not every day
I meet someone like you,
And all you want to do,
Is throw it away
You say there is another girl,
That you dont love me anymore.
You think it helps,
But it only makes me feel worse
I Still love you,
even though i hate you
For leaving me for her
I never stop to think,
That maybe she has something i don't?
What did i do to make you leave?
What can i do to make you come back?
But my friends say,
That i should get over you.
That you weren't good enough for me.
I don't believe
Prologue
I knocked Tentativley on the door to Sam's house. I didn't know why i had come here after what happened at school. I could barley show my face in the cafeteria now. Before my hand touched the door, it swung open and Sam's Dazzling smile beamed down at me. I sudenly went weak at the knees as he pulled me inside and shut the door.
Chapter One
As usual the cafeteria was busy as all the students bought there lunch and quickly found their table with their friends. I joined the line and quickly scanned the familiar faces of the people in the cafeteria. I couldn't find the one i was looking for. I inwardly sighed with relief.
After purchasing my lunch I went to my normal table by myself near the window. I ate my lunch without really tasting it, and was just about to get up and leave, when Sam walked in.
The atmosphere of the cafeteria instantly changed, as every girl started flicking hair and trying to look as attractive as possible. Hw walked past every one of them, st
Chapter 2
On Saturday I woke up before my alarm went off and dragged myself out of bed and downstairs to have breakfast. I pulled my clothes on in a hurry and set about doing my chores. All too soon 4 oclock came around and I heard a knock on the door.
Dad, Can you get the door please?
I heard my father clomping down the stairs to the door. Dad called me down
Its for you! I ran down the stairs taking them two at a time. Sam smiled at me from the door.
Hey Lizzy His eyes locked on mine as I walked over to the door tingling with nerves.
Dad, this is Sam. Sam, this is my Dad Harry
Chapter 3
The drive home took much longer than I expected. Sam kept me cradled against his side all the way. I looked out of the window and saw that it was raining. I also noticed that Sam didnt seem to care that I had left a wet patch on his black shirt. When I tried to sit up myself to prevent him from getting wetter, he just held me tighter to his chest. its okay, its okay. Were taking you home now. Hell never touch you again and I knew he meant it.
When we arrived at my house Sam cradled me on his lap and dried the tears on my face. Shh, dont worry. I wrapped my arms around him
I dropped my finished cigarette on the ground and allowed it to be taken away by the wind. I looked around at my two friends, both finishing their own.
I jumped up onto the railings and looked down towards the church, several couples milled around the gothic style doors of the spire, some on the random benches, others standing under the trees, each person connected to their partner in one way or another, I placed them about in their mid-twenties, the time when love becomes more sentimental and soppy.
I groaned in displeasure, it was Valentines day and all I could see were happy couples eating heart shaped chocolates, sniffing roses, c
